Counseling

Our counseling services

Counseling services are provided at CASA EIRENE by senior staff members who are trained in religion, spirituality and the behavioral sciences.  Pastoral counselors do not impose their personal religious beliefs upon others.  Persons of all faiths and persons of no religious affiliations are equally welcome.  Every person’s faith and values are respected.  Our counselors are able to explore the religious or spiritual dimensions of the problems the person brings as needed.  The counseling process can help you:
  • Work through depression, anxiety, trauma, and other psychological issues
  • Rebuild your life after loss
  • Manage conflict constructively
  • Gain insights and awareness of your personality, family, and other relationships
  • Explore your sexual identity
  • Prepare for marriage through premarital counseling
  • Improve your communication skills
  • Enrich your relationship with your partner
  • Learn better parenting skills
  • Understand your cultural identity and other issues related to your ethnic background or national origin
  • Manage your stress more effectively
  • Grow spiritually and/or religiously

Pastoral Counseling

What is Pastoral Counseling?
Pastoral counseling uses the insights and principles of spirituality, religion, theology, and modern behavioral sciences in working with individuals, couples, families, groups, and institutions toward the achievement of wholeness and health. An important dimension in pastoral counseling different from other approaches to counseling and psychotherapy is the conviction that mental and emotional health is best understood when spiritual, religious and psychological needs of individuals are addressed.
